Never seen the films, never plan to.

But I know the media fairly well. And the media are often vile.

My, the excitement in the tech media today about this guy forgetting his lines at the Consumer Electronics Show, going blank and walking off stage.




But what do the tech geeks and tech journalists do?

Mostly take the piss. Find it hilarious.

"Wow, this guy was presenting a deck, for like Samsung, and he fucked it up live on stage."

Geeks, and the tech crowd generally, I'm starting to sense, can be icy bastards.

Many have zero emotional intelligence.

Code, increasingly, is a synonym of cruel.
