Anyway, today it worked a treat. Here's what happened.
At 9:30 am, the Bank of England published the latest data on the Funding for Lending Scheme.You know, that thing the Chancellor reckons will ignite the property market and economy.
Anyway, shortly after the data emerged, we worked quickly with Chris to get together some views on the data and then issued a statement.
This particular opportunity was 'capped' at £250 rather than the usual £500 because we often do discounts: anything to get new views into the news!
The result of said PR-related shenanigans?

Anyway, Chris was so happy when he saw all this fantastic publicity that he decided to sacrifice a small animal to thank the Gods.
OK, that's not true but as you know, a) I am a compulsive liar, and b) fantasy is generally more fun than reality.
