Please could you tell me how can I get my company onto page one of Google? I've been struggling for 10 years and the closest I've come is page 11.
Firstly, I'd like to say that that is a very good question. A
good question.
You have obviously carried out some initial research on what Google is, and why it is important for a company like yours to be on the first page of an SEO engine.
It's preparation like this that will position you well for future success.
Unfortunately, I see that you didn't mention which sector your business is in.But let's not dwell on that today. It's simply not relevant.
Why is it not relevant? It's not relevant because what you will find, as you pick up experience in business, is that the key principles of business apply to any sector, whichever sector you're in.
For example, if you're a shopkeeper then you should, in my mind at least, abide by the same principles and rules that someone in the pharmaceuticals industry, or even forestry, might.
You will rapidly discover that the principles of business are eternal.
But enough of the theory of business, what about the practice?
My advice to you is to set some time aside to really understand what Google is, and how it might benefit your firm, whether that is a limited company, an LLP or even a plc (or maybe you're a sole trader?).
Once you have done this, I suggest trying it out and seeing if it works.
If this approach feels a little high risk, then let me say this to you: sometimes, in business, it's vital to take risks.
I even joke sometimes that "no business is safe without risk".
And when people get the joke they realise it's actually not a joke at all.
So to wrap up, I would simply focus on success. If you can do that, you will find that everything will fall into place.
