How crucial is marketing to any small business? Well, pretty crucial according to some very smart business gurus!!

Every year, 400,000 small businesses start up in the UK and of those 50% will fail in the first year and 95% will fail within the first five years. When experts were asked, what are the main reasons why a small business will fail, their top three answers were: poor marketing, cash flow problems, and bad business planning. Interestingly, it's because many small businesses suffer from cash flow problems early on, that they fail to or are unable to put enough resource into marketing. It's a chicken and egg situation....which is why we consider the
business model to be a perfect fit for the thousands of start-ups out there.

We speak to small businesses all the time, many of which are still in their first year of trading, and although they are keen to raise brand awareness, they simply don't have the budgets to spend on expensive marketing campaigns. That's why we want to say to all the SMEs out there, if you're passionate about your business and want to be one of the 50% who thrive rather than founder in the first year, then pop onto the Just In Time website and find out how we can help you build your brand, without it costing an arm and a leg!

is free, and if you want to speak to the Just In Time team, we are always happy to take a call and bore you to death about the merits of performance-based PR.
